You decide to head back to the meadow. A small breeze picks up, and very faintly you hear a voice in the wind. Or perhaps it’s just you’re imagination. You can’t quite tell yet.
“Heads,” says the voice. “And we sell the whole lot. Tails, and we keep it all for ourselves my Dearie.”
“Who’s there?” you say. You look around in every direction, but you don’t see anyone.
“I hear she got a splendid price,” the voice continues. “Splendid indeed!”
“Show yourself,” you say.
“Just a sec love. I hear a human calling,” the voice says.
All of a sudden, something like a whirlwind picks up pulling piles of leaves into a vortex. The leave’s spin around the vortex for a few moments, and then form into the form of a face.
“What do you want?” snaps the leaf man.
“Sorry to bother you. I just heard a voice, and I was curious.” you say.
“Indeed,” says the leaf man. “I expect that curiosity killed a lot more than the cat. Wouldn’t you agree?”
How do you reply?
